Dr. Jeffrey D. Carter graduated with his medical degree in 1983 from the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah. He completed his internship in General surgery at Stanford
University in Palo Alto, California
and was chief resident of Orthopedic Surgery from 1987-1988. He then was selected in 1988 as one of two surgeons to complete the prestigious Otto E. Aufranc fellowship in joint constructive surgery Dr. Carter moved to Monterey, California in 1989 to begin his private practice.
